CISS Effect: Coupling to vibrations and Decoherence Sources

The effect in which an unpolarized current of electrons that, passing through a chiral material, becomes polarized is known as Chiral-induced spin selectivity (CISS effect). We present a summary of the most recent studies that include the coupling of these chiral materials with vibrations and decoherence sources in order to contribute to understand this phenomenon.
